How it works
Cubic feet = Length × Width × (Depth ÷ 12) · Cubic yards = Cubic feet ÷ 27. Crushed rock weighs roughly 1.35 tons per cubic yard.
Example
A 10 × 10 ft area at 3 in deep is about 0.9 cubic yards (~1.25 tons).
