What it does – The Rubber Mulch Estimator takes the length and width of your planting area and the coverage each mulch unit provides (default 50 sq ft) and instantly tells you the total square footage and how many units to buy. Why it matters – Ordering too few units means unfinished beds; ordering too many wastes money and space. How to read the result – The Area field shows the exact square footage of your space. The Units needed field rounds up to the nearest whole unit because mulch is sold by the unit. You can also adjust the coverage per unit if your supplier uses a different specification, and the calculator will recalculate instantly. This tool removes guesswork, saves time, and helps you budget accurately before you step outside with a shovel.
